KEYBOARD AND MOUSE FUNCTIONS IN AUTOCAD, ZOOM, PAN, STEERING WHEEL, ACTION RECORDER, etc

1. KEYBOARD APPLICATION IN AUTOCAD:

a.) How to exit from autocad command, use below keys

• ESC
• SPACE BAR
• ENTER

b.) How to access last command in autocad, use below keys

• ENTER

F1 à Opens Help

F2 à Command line window expands 

F3 à Object snap turn on/off

F4 à 3D Object snap turn on/off

F5 à To change isometric plane view

F6 à Dynamic UCS turn on/off

F8 à Ortho turn on/off

g.) Ctrl+Shift+V à To Paste as block

h.) Ctrl+Arrows key à To move object

i.) Delete Key à To Erase

2. MOUSE FUNCTIONS IN AUTOCAD:

a.) Left Click à to select object/options

• Wpolygon (Left side to Right side) à full object to be covered for selection
• Cpolygon (Right side to Left side) à if you touch the object it will be selected

b.) Center Click à 

• Scroll to Zoom in/out,
• Click and drag to Pan, 
• Shift+Center scroll to change 3d Views,

c.) Right Click à to get below options

• c1.) Recent input à to access some last used commands

• c2.) Clipboard à to copy and paste

• c3.) Isolate objects à to hide/unhide object

• c4.) Undo à to go previous process.

• c5.) Redo à cancels Undo process

• c6.) Pan à to move drawing area

• c7.) Zoom à to zoom in/out

• C8.) Steering Wheel à to access steering wheel

c9.) Action Recorder à to record current process

c10.) Sub object selection filter à to set selection rules

c11.) Quick Select  à to select object by some filter

c12..) Quick Calc à to open calculater

c13.) Find à to open find and replace 

c14.) Options à to open options settings dialog box

• Right Click à Enter or Cancel
